The spectacular Marble Arch Caves lie five miles west of Florence Court, to the southwest of Enniskillen, in County Fermanagh.

The extensive cave system is a popular attraction, and is filled with subterranean rivers and waterfalls surrounded by incredible sculpted limestone formations. A tour of the labyrinthine caves takes just over an hour and begins with an electrically powered boat journey along an underground river, where the reflections of the stalactites and climbing stalagmitesMarble Arch Caves Photo enhance the otherworldly atmosphere. The rest of the winding passages and chambers, which have been hollowed out by the tides of the river, are explored on foot, with guides providing information about the various formations.

There is an exhibition area and audio-visual theatre in the cave centre, as well as a restaurant and gift shop. Surrounding the caves are the limestone hills of Cuilcagh Mountain Park, which are great for walking, with a trail leading to the summit of Cuilcagh Mountain. The park is also a conservation area, and information about its geology can be found at the cave centre.
